Our promise to sustain environment:

We are environmentally conscious and aware of its footprint. We put effort into educating our travellers to be aware of their impact on the ecosystems and to act responsibly.
Our correspondence and promotion are carried out via the Internet and email, minimizing the amount of paper we use. All hotels on our culinary tour in have an environmental responsibility program in place and employ local people. Before travelling to Cambodia, we give our customers a short briefing about the importance of being responsible. We advise our travellers to take care of nature, control water usage whenever they can, and pick up all the litter that they see. We are always travelling in small group up to 12 persons – and this enables us to stay in locally owned, small accommodation, encouraging unique connections with local people.
Excursions and attractions in which captive wildlife is held are not offered, except for properly regulated activities in compliance with local, national and international law. Any disturbance of natural ecosystem is minimised.

Our promise to support community:

Our tours are designed to show and preserve local culture and traditions. All of our guides, drivers and staff are local people. We also use local transport wherever possible, from trains, buses, taxis, bicycles to the local metro.
On culinary tour to Cambodia we encourage our tourist to get familiar with local food and cuisine. We visit a local village market to see, taste and purchase local ingredients, like galangal, turmeric, kaffir limes, lemongrass and more, for our Khmer cooking class. We believe that responsible travel is about the attitude you take with you and the choices you make when travelling. Respect to the local people, their cultures, the economy and the environment should be the first rule that travellers follow. On trips like the Culinary tour in Cambodia, where dress standards can be conservative (particularly outside of the major cities), we recommend that our travellers wear loose, lightweight clothing so not to offend, particularly when visiting religious sites.

All Chefs on our cooking classes are locals, teaching us about culinary tradition and customs in Cambodia. In the aim to support the local economy we only eat in local restaurants.

Our goal is not only to help the local community but also to educate our customers to act in a socially responsible way. We will attempt to give an insight and understanding of the host culture and community to our clients so that they can gain more from their visit. All our travellers who book through our company receive information on Cambodia prior to their trip, to understand and respect the culture and environment of the host destination. Sustainable development, protection and conservation are most important goals of our company. We are doing our best to transfer our knowledge to others so we could together act responsibly in preserving the planet.
